In preparation for the council’s meeting with PennDot about truck restrictions on Route 30 to be held on August 5th, Naugle asked citizens to send photos or written descriptions of truck damages to the borough. The information can be sent to officials at www.gettysburgpa.gov/borough-council or by calling 717-334-1160.
Charles Strauss and his family have moved to a new home on West Broadway. Because the new address is in Ward 2 and he currently represents Ward 3, Strauss will be leaving the board as of July 15th. Strauss announced his resignation at last Monday’s council workshop. Strauss will remain on the borough’s planning commission.

Gettysburg Borough reports that beginning tomorrow, Friday June 21, workers will be removing the island curbing on West Broadway. There will be no parking on the North side of West Broadway. This process will take approximately a week. Beginning July 1st we will be removing the curbing and sidewalk on East Broadway.
