It wasn’t the best weather for an outdoor festival this year, but the show went on.
Adams County Heritage Festival organizer Bill Collinge said it was the coolest and rainiest of any of the 31 prior festivals. “We were dampened, but it wasn’t a washout,” he said.
Susan Collinge praised the non-profit organizations for their perseverance. “They were troopers,” she said.
The music, though moved indoors, was lively; the food was good as always; and the people who stayed took it all in good spirits.

Thanks to all the hearty souls who came out and to all those who participated and volunteered!
