Gettysburg Community Theatre (GCT), the non-profit 501c3 organization currently in its 17th year at 49 York Street within the first block of Lincoln Square in Gettysburg, PA, will perform Disney’s 101 Dalmatians KIDS this weekend only! 7pm Friday, July 11th, 2pm and 7pm Saturday, July 12th, and 2pm Sunday, July 13th. The high-energy 30-minute musical, designed for young performers, is based on the classic Dodie Smith novel and the beloved Disney films. Disney’s 101 Dalmatians KIDS is under the direction of Elizabeth Pellegrino who holds a Masters Degree in Shakespeare, with vocal music direction by Tessa Trax who will be a attending Penn State this Autumn, and choreography by Emma Kirk who will be attending Ithaca College this Autumn, and Rebecca Williams who will be a Junior at Littlestown High School, with assistance from Max Carlson who will be attending Franklin & Marshall this Autumn. All five of these camp directors are alumni of Gettysburg Community Theatre.

“It is truly remarkable and so rewarding”, says GCT Founding Executive/Artistic Director, Chad-Alan Carr, “to see our students grow up through our program here and to return in summers from college and professional work life to teach and direct at the very theatre they started in when they were in elementary school. We are so fortunate to have them here to give back to the community.”
All of London is barking about this exciting adaptation of the classic Disney animated feature 101 Dalmatians. Join Roger, Anita, Pongo, Perdita, and their pups as they race their way through madcap adventures and thwart the villainous Cruella De Vil. Adapted especially for young performers, this musical includes favorite Disney songs including “Cruella De Vil” and “Dalmatian Vacation.” With colorful characters and irresistible songs, 101 Dalmatians KIDS is sure to be a crowd-pleaser for all ages!
