Linda L. Eaches, 78 of Biglerville, PA, passed away at Transitions Healthcare in Gettysburg, PA on Monday, October 20, 2025.

Born in Ames, Iowa, on February 22, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Guy & Lula (Thompson) Wakefield, Jr. Linda worked as a day care worker at Iowa State University before her retirement and attended Grand Avenue Baptist Church in Ames, Iowa, for many years.

She enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren. Linda is survived by two sons, Gary J. Eaches of Harrisburg, PA, and Frank T. “Tom” Eaches of Gettysburg, PA, fifteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren, a brother, Bill Wakefield, and his wife Paula of Roland, Iow,a and a sister, Ann Van Low and her husband Marv of Story City, Iowa.

She was predeceased by a son, James Eaches, and a brother, Larry Wakefield. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Memorial Baptist Church, 1096 Biglerville Road, Gettysburg, PA, with her son, Gary Eaches, officiating.
