James W. Reichart, age 91, of Littlestown, entered God’s eternal care on October 28, 2025. He was the loving husband of Eileen M. (Hartlaub) Reichart, with whom he had 70 years of marriage.
Jim was born in Littlestown on August 12, 1934, and was the son of the late Ray and Ruth (Bair) Reichart. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean conflict and also worked as a heavy equipment operator and a lifelong farmer.
In addition to his loving wife, Eileen, Jim is survived by his children, Deb Jeffcoat & Dave, Mary Mills & Mike, Sue Rhoades & Jim, Jim Reichart & Tonia, John Reichart & Candace; 11 grandchildren, Chris, Missy, Michael, Amanda, Jennifer, Rebecca, Luke, Lauren, Alyssa, Erica, Jordan and 19 great grandchildren; brother, Edward Reichart & Nancy.
There will be a viewing at Little’s Funeral Home on Monday, November 3, from 5 – 8 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at St. James UCC, 1200 Harney Road, Littlestown on November 16 at 1 p.m. with a luncheon following the service. A private graveside service will be held with family.
