Obituary: Constance “Connie” Yost

Constance “Connie” Yost, 72, of Gettysburg, PA, died Thursday, October 23, 2025, at her apartment in Gettysburg.

Born March 3, 1953, in Hanover, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Royal and Marguerite Hill.

Connie worked in the cafeteria locally for Alloway Creek Elementary School in Littlestown and also in Bradford, Vermont. She enjoyed many different hobbies, including latch hook rugs, jigsaw puzzles, reading, crosswords, beads, making blankets using “Magic Loom” squares, and using yarn to make coasters, shelf liners, etc., with plastic canvases. A lover of animals, she had several cats throughout her life: Madonna, Mitzy, Tipsy, Misty, Daisia, and Rambo. She was a loyal, loving mother and wife who wanted the best for those she loved.

Connie is survived by her four daughters, Courtney Yost of New Oxford, PA, Kristine Williams of Barre, VT, Karen Williams of Bradford, VT, Heather Tullar of Lyme, NH, 11 grandchildren: Logan, Derek, Bradley, Jordan, Brendan, Cheyenne, Jace, Hayden, Katherine, Sophia, and Carter; 6 great-grandchildren: Peyton, Camden, Cali-Anne, Gregory, and Jensen; her two sisters, Sharon Chartier, Kathy Desnoyers, and her brother, Gary Hill. She is also survived by her former husbands, Lester Williams and Roger Yost. She was preceded in death by her brother, Keith Hill, and her sister, Judy Hill.
