I want to thank everyone for all your kind thoughts, words, prayers and many hugs. My heart is broken. But it does help to hear from everyone.
Barker Family,
I am incredibly sorry to hear of Lane’s passing. I know words do not make a loss any easier to bear, but memories can sure be cherished and kept near and dear to the heart. I will best remember early mornings at the bus stop with Connor, the boys playing outside, and of course the favorite memories of football. Especially earlier years when he was a favorite target of Connor when Connor was QB. I hope during your time of grief, you too can find the memories that give you a big smile.
Kevin, Dustyn, & LilyAnn – I was so sorry to hear about your loss. Every time I think of Lane, I remember taking him miniature golfing. Despite his limited putting skills, the joy and enthusiasm he had when proclaiming loudly to anyone who would listen that he had won because he had the highest score.
