Timothy Donald Hobbs, 62, of Gettysburg, PA, peacefully passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025. Tim was born February 6, 1963, in Gettysburg, the son of Donald E. Hobbs of Gettysburg and the late Jean L. Hobbs.
He was a graduate of Gettysburg High School. Tim started working for the family business, Shenango of Pennsylvania, during his school years, and after graduating from high school, he began working full-time in various positions, including welding, office work, and operating the company’s cranes.
He was an avid boater and previously owned a cabin cruiser on the Chesapeake Bay.
Tim was an excellent pool player in his day and was a devoted Baltimore Ravens fan. Tim will be missed by his family and friends. In addition to his father,
Tim is survived by three brothers, Kenneth Hobbs of York Springs, PA, Daniel Hobbs of Lumberville, PA, and Eric Hobbs of Georgetown, SC. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
