Spring classes are open at Totem Pole Playhouse

Enrollment is now open for 2026 spring classes and summer camps at Totem Pole Playhouse, offering youth and adults a range of theatre education opportunities at the historic venue in Fayetteville.

The playhouse announced that registration for its upcoming programs is available now, allowing families to plan ahead and secure spots in classes and camps that are expected to fill quickly. Organizers said the programs are designed for students of all experience levels, from first-time performers to those looking to build on existing skills, while also providing flexible schedules and more affordable options for families.

The 2026 spring session will feature workshops for both youth and adults, focusing on acting fundamentals, vocal performance, stage presence and other core theatre skills. Classes are structured to support beginners while also challenging more advanced participants in a professional but welcoming environment.

Summer offerings will again include Creative Dramatics Camp, scheduled for June 22–27, 2026, for children ages 7 to 10. The camp emphasizes imagination, teamwork, movement and storytelling through theatre-based activities designed to introduce young students to the creative process.

Older students will have the opportunity to participate in two Musical Theatre Camps that provide a more intensive rehearsal and performance experience. Musical Theatre Camp #1 will run July 6–18, 2026, featuring Beetlejuice Jr. Musical Theatre Camp #2 is set for July 27–August 8, 2026, and will culminate in performances of Disney’s Descendants. Both camps will guide students through acting, singing, choreography, and production, ending with fully staged shows for family and friends.

The playhouse noted that camps have been shortened this year to better align with artists’ schedules and to help reduce costs for parents, while still maintaining the hands-on learning experience that has become a hallmark of the program.
