Linville Hill didn’t go away after Delone roared out to a commanding lead from the jump, but the Squires steadied the ship and extended their memorable season with a 2A semifinal win Thursday night in McSherrystown. Luke Rebert led the balanced Delone scoring with 20 points, followed by Liam O’Brien with 17 and Colin Redding with 16 points.

The season came to an end for the Colonials in Hershey Friday night, as the Trojans overcame a strong New Oxford start to claim the victory in the 5A quarterfinals. Brody Holmes had another strong scoring game for New Oxford with 23 points, while Tanner Haugh added nine points. Hershey’s Cameron Sweeney led all scorers with 28.
