Gloria V. Eline, 93, of Hummelstown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of Donald E. Eline who passed away September 26, 2006; together they shared 53 wonderful years of marriage.
Born October 3, 193,2 in Gettysburg, she was the daughter of the late William V. and Catherine (Gebhart) Klunk.
Gloria was a 1950 graduate of Delone Catholic High School, McSherrystown, and was a secretary with Abington Heights High School, Clarks Summit, for many years. She was employed part-time with Sears Catalogue Customer Service. Gloria was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Harrisburg, and was a woman of strong faith. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Gloria loved music, watching NASCAR, was a Notre Dame football fan, enjoyed playing bridge with her friends, and loved dogs.
She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Eline, Scranton, Jill Eline, Wilkes-Barre, and Kimberly Kohl (Bill), Harrisburg; granddaughter, Kate Diehl, Dunedin, FL; and grandson, Christopher Kohl, Pittsburgh, PA.
Gloria was preceded in death by four sisters, Hilda Sanders, Anna Klunk, Mary Schrade, and Gladys Shriver.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 11 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church (Bonneauville), 12 East Hanover St., Gettysburg, PA, with Father Michael Rothan, Celebrant. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will be on Wednesday from 10 am until the start of Mass at the church. Burial will be in Annunciation B.V.M. Catholic Cemetery, McSherrystown.
