Delone went out to an early lead, then came up strong again in overtime to defeat Constitution. With the win, the Squires now move on to the state quarterfinals, where they are slated to meet Old Forge, the champions of District 2, on Saturday. Delone featured a balanced attack on Wednesday, led by Liam O’Brien’s 13 points and 11 from Luke Rebert.

It was a tale of two halves at the Class 4A second-rate playoffs in Chambersburg, where Delone’s season came to an end when Penn Cambria came roaring out in the second half after trailing by 14. Zoe Gregg led the scoring for the Squirettes with 10 points. Reece Meckley and Amelia Joyce each added nine. Delone finishes its excellent season at 23-6.
