Angeles C. Naugle, age 92 of Gettysburg, PA, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, with her two children by her side at Mercy House in Chambersburg, PA.
Angeles was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Berkley E. Naugle, who died in 2011.
Born in Madrid, Spain, on August 1, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Angel & Balbina (Cazorla) del Cerro.
Angeles was a longtime and faithful member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Gettysburg, where she was a member of the PCCW. Her other memberships included the Biglerville American Legion Post #262 Auxiliary and the Gettysburg Eagles Auxiliary. Angeles enjoyed traveling, shopping, and playing bingo.
She is survived by her two children, Maria Jeanette Bolen of York Springs, PA, and George D. Naugle of Lynn Haven, FL, four grandchildren, Cassandra, Alexander, Victoria, and George, and five great-grandchildren, Caston, Parker, Everly, Olivia, and Vada. Angeles was predeceased by four siblings, Carmen, Julia, Pilar and Conception.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Gettysburg. Interment will follow the Mass in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. A Viewing will be held at the church one hour prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.
