Obituary: Edna Curry

Edna (Sass) Curry, 94, of Littlestown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at The Terraces at Westminster.

Born on October 3, 1931, in Westover, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Hilda (Kernisky) Sass.

Edna was the loving wife of the late Glenn Walter Curry, who passed away in 1997; together, they shared 49 years of marriage. Their life together was built on love, faith, and devotion to family.

Edna attended two years of high school but went back later in life and earned her GED, and later worked preparing income taxes in both Maryland and Pennsylvania. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church and will be remembered for her strong faith, caring nature, and the love she shared with her family throughout her life.

She is survived by her sister, Janet Finch; two grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; eleven great-great-grandchildren; and a number of loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Edna was preceded in death by her two sons, Daniel Curry and Kurt Curry, as well as many other beloved family members.

A viewing will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Little’s Funeral Home, 34 Maple Avenue, Littlestown, PA. A funeral service will begin at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with Chaplain Art Monroe officiating.

Burial will be private in LaJose Cemetery in Newburg, PA.
