Obituary: David Kushner

David Kushner, a deeply respected executive coach and mentor, passed away peacefully at his home in Gettysburg, PA on March 28, 2026, surrounded by family and close friends.

David’s life was defined by the profound impact he had on others. He was far more than a mentor; he genuinely cared about people and loved helping them grow. He saw the best in others, often before they could see it themselves, and made it his mission to help them become better, better leaders, better professionals, and better human beings.

Through his work as an executive coach and advisor, David touched countless lives. But what set him apart was not just his insight or experience; it was his heart. He invested deeply in people, encouraged them when they struggled, challenged them to rise higher, and stood beside them as they worked to become the person they were meant to be.

David participated in and led many organizations. While living in Gettysburg, he served on the boards of the Rotary Club of Gettysburg, the Adams County Library, and was active with the Adams County Democratic Committee. He was a lector at both the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and the National Shrine Grotto at Mount St. Mary’s University.

David’s legacy is not only in the organizations he influenced but also in the many lives he changed through his kindness, belief, and unwavering commitment to helping others grow. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit and impact will live on in all those he guided, supported, and uplifted.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church 25 W. High St., Gettysburg, PA on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 1:00 pm. A reception will follow the service at Beech Spring Farm, 784 Mount Carmel Rd., Orrtana, PA.
