Rickey Lynn Gossert, aged 61, of Chambersburg, passed away peacefully at his home on April 11, 2026. Born on June 16, 1964, he was the son of the late John O. Gossert, Jr. and Anna Catherine (Mullet) Gossert.
Surviving are three daughters, Cierra, Carlee, and Courtney. He is also survived by his two brothers, John and Art; one sister, Deb; 13 grandchildren; one niece; and five nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his longtime best friend, Kenneth Lee “Chub” Alexander, Jr., and his grandson, Deon Pierre Branche.
Rick was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for hunting and fishing, especially with his grandkids. He enjoyed early morning drives and would stop by every yard sale to find all of the good deals. Rick had a heart as pure as gold and was always willing to help anyone and everyone.
Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. In honor of Rickey’s life and to celebrate the love he shared, a funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Dugan Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 51 Asper Drive, in Shippensburg. Family and friends are warmly invited to gather and pay their respects, sharing stories and reflecting on cherished memories. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
