On Tuesday, April 14, 2026, William “Bill” Edward Wallace Sr., 92, passed away peacefully at his home after a brief illness. Born January 3, 1934, in Baltimore to the late Frederick and Hilda Heinekamp Wallace. He is survived by his loving wife Janet (Bruchie) Wallace, children and step-children, William Wallace II (Terri), Kirk Grander, Steven Wallace (Lisa), Kent Grander (Bambi) and grandchildren, Branden Wallace, Jenifer DePaola, Samantha Espey, Timothy Wallace, Samantha Grander, Brittany Grander, great-grandchildren Steven DePaola, Madison DePaola, Ella Espey, Jaxson Wallace, Emma DePaola, Gavin Wallace, Kieran Wallace & Campbell Grander.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Fred, Oren, and Donald Wallace, and one sister, Gloria Wallace Fleming, one daughter, Jeanine Wallace, and one great-grandson, Collin Espey.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force serving in the Korean War. After retiring from Baltimore Local 19, working many years as a stagehand in the Baltimore area, he spent many years in Aspers, Pennsylvania, on Bear Mountain, where he made many lifelong friends. One of his most treasured times is the weekly Thursday night gathering at the Cameo Drive-In Restaurant with his dear friends to enjoy a delicious meal and wonderful conversations.
Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 111 S. Main Street in Bendersville. The family and friends will be gathering for a private celebration of life at a future date.
