Glenn Edward Carey, Sr., 88, of Gardners, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026, in his home. He was born March 31, 1938, in Gardners to the late Chester and Dorothy McCauslin Carey. He was the widower of Janet Louise (Beam) Carey.
Glenn was a Biglerville High School Graduate and went on to work for Peter J. Sweitzer Papermill, Vetro Glass, Fry Communications, and later Home Depot. He was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Surviving are his sons, Glenn Carey, Jr., and Kenneth Carey of Newville; grandson, Glenn Carey III; great-grandson, Glenn Carey IV; and siblings, Larry Carey of Carlisle and Caroline Carey of Dillsburg. Glenn was preceded in death by siblings, Johny, Dean, George, and Jean Carey.
A memorial service will be held, Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 6:00 PM, in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1 Mooredale Dr., Carlisle, PA 17015.
