Gardeners and plant lovers across Adams County will have a chance to jump-start their spring planting as the Biglerville Garden Club prepares to host its annual plant sale later this month.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 16, from 8 a.m. until noon at the National Apple Museum’s Slikk Pavilion, 154 West Hanover Street in Biglerville.
The sale will feature a wide variety of reasonably priced plants, offering something for both seasoned gardeners and those just getting started. Shoppers can expect a mix of flowers, greenery, and other seasonal selections, with inventory varying throughout the morning. Part of the appeal is the element of surprise, as the selection often includes unique or hard-to-find plants depending on what members and contributors provide.
In addition to plants, the sale will also include garden-related items, giving attendees the opportunity to pick up tools, decorations, and other supplies to complement their outdoor spaces.
A selection of baked goods will also be available, enhancing the event’s community atmosphere and offering visitors a chance to enjoy homemade treats as they browse.
The annual sale serves as both a fundraiser and a way for the club to engage with the community, promoting gardening and local beautification efforts. Proceeds typically support the club’s projects and initiatives throughout the year.
Come early for the best selection.
