Stanley E. Rinehart, 83, of Gettysburg, PA, died Thursday morning, April 30, 2026, at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, PA.

Born April 22, 1943, in Gettysburg, PA, he was the son of the late Dwight and Thelma (Gilbert) Rinehart. He was the husband of the late JoAnn Rinehart, who died May 30, 2024.

Mr. Rinehart was a SGT 1st Class of the Army, enlisting in 1961 and retiring in 1981, receiving various medals during his deployment during the Vietnam War.

Stanley is survived by his two sons, Scott Rinehart, of Delaware, and Keith Rinehart, of New Jersey, his sister, Linda Heavner, of New Hampshire, and three step-children, Larry Crabtree, Steve Crabtree, and Sandra Crabtree, a niece, Kyra Rinehart, and a nephew, Joshua Rinehart.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 8, 2026, at the Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, PA. Burial with full military honors being presented by the Adams County Allied Veterans will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
