The Adams County Arts Council invites participants for the seventh production/exhibition of The PEOPLE Project. Artists, storytellers, and musicians are invited to participate in this event and exhibit. The theme for The PEOPLE Project 2026 is “Generations & Crossroads,” and will include a performance event in the Majestic Theater’s Cinema One on Thursday, October 15 at 7 pm and an exhibit of “Generations & Crossroads” themed artworks on display at the Adams County Arts Council for the month of October, with an opening First Friday reception October 2.
About the theme: Gettysburg’s geography as a crossroads made it a spot of convergence in one of the United States’ most pivotal moments in history. Contribute stories, music, and artwork that illustrate a crossroads in your life, and tie it back to how you have come to live, work, and play in our beloved Adams County as we celebrate America/PA 250.
