Jacqueline M. Rudisill, age 94, of New Oxford, PA, formerly of Gettysburg, PA, passed away at UPMC Hanover Hospital on Monday, June 29, 2026.
She was born in Hanover, PA, on February 2, 1932, daughter of the late Earl & Virginia (Mays) Baughman. Jacqueline is survived by her husband of 75 years, Merle P. Rudisill.
She was an active and longtime member of the Gettysburg United Methodist Church, volunteering at the clothing closet, soup kitchen, and the HART Center in New Oxford. Jacqueline also served for many years as the Activities Coordinator at Green Acres Nursing Home in Gettysburg. She was a people person and never found anyone she didn’t like.
She enjoyed reading and loved all kinds of animals.
Jacqueline was a member of the VFW Post #15 Auxiliary for many years. In addition to her husband, Jacqueline is survived by two daughters, Regina Campbell of York, PA, and Tammy Barbour and her husband, Doug, of Littlestown, PA; two grandsons, Andrew Campbell and Benjamin Campbell and his wife, Danielle; and two great-grandchildren, Aidan and Emma Campbell. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Bradford Campbell.
