Thursday, July 23, 9 am to 7 pm
Friday, July 24, open at 8:30 am for seniors and those with special needs; open 9 am to 7 pm for everyone
Bag Sale Saturday, July 25, 9 am to 2 pm. Fill one bag for $5 or two for $10 with a free third bag

Are you a teacher? Hurray! Come in on Friday and get 15 free books for classroom use.

Calling all parents! Children get five free books.

Refreshments

A food truck will be on site to keep that book hunt energy going.

About Friends of the Adams County Library System

This year marks the Friends’ 67th anniversary! Since 1959, we have used the proceeds from the sale and our bookstore (on the lower level of the Gettysburg Library) to help the library pay off mortgages, buy operational equipment, install an elevator, add books, and offer programs, like the Living Library and many others. We also raise money through membership contributions.

In 2025, the Friends of the Adams County Library gave the library $50,000.
