Obituary: Joseph Anthony Kornblum

Joseph Anthony Kornblum, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on August 10, 2026. Born on December 10, 1969, in Harrisburg, PA, Joe was the son of Michael and Cheryl Kornblum.

Joe was a man of many talents, known for his skills as a handyman and his expertise in carpentry, electrical work, and HVAC. A true “Jack of all trades”, he could fix anything and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His charismatic personality allowed him to connect with people from all walks of life.

Outside of his work, Joe found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved metal detecting and cherished the peaceful moments spent fishing with his brothers. His classic Oldsmobile and little dog, Monk, were his pride and joy.

Joe was preceded in death by his loving mother, Cheryl Kornblum; his nephew, Michael Kornblum; and his longtime partner, Dianne Decker. He is survived by his father, Michael Kornblum; brothers, Daniel (Ann), Stephen (Donna), Philip (Cheryl), Matthew, and Adam Kornblum; and his nieces and nephews, who will all miss him dearly.

Services will be held Monday, August 17, 2026, at 6:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065, with Pastor Linda Shipman officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting Joe’s generous spirit and his dedication to helping others.

Joe’s warmth, humor, and unwavering kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew him. As we celebrate his life, we carry forward the love and laughter he shared so freely with the world. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
