Catherine E. Miller, 97, of Gettysburg, PA, passed away on Wednesday evening, August 19, 2026, at Mercy House in Chambersburg, PA, with her family at her side.
She was born November 29, 1928, in Orrtanna, PA, the daughter of the late Lloyd Richardson and Lillie Welsh. Her husband, William Miller, died in 1993.
Catherine was employed at the Gettysburg Holiday Inn, where she worked with her best friend Betty Erb for 23 years. She was a charter member of the Gettysburg Eagles Auxiliary.
Catherine is survived by a son, David F. Kelly of Gettysburg, PA, and a daughter, Barbara A. Fuhrman of Hanover, PA, four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
The Family extends their deepest gratitude to the compassionate staff at Mercy House in Chambersburg, PA, for the exceptional care and kindness shown to Catherine during her final days. Their support provided comfort and solace to both Catherine and her family.
