Last chance to purchase tickets for East Berlin Community Center fundraiser

The East Berlin Area Community Center’s Art in the Garden Party tickets are on sale until Sept. 4. The event will take place at the home of Jane and Mike Rice, and all proceeds will benefit the Reach 4 the Stars Campaign for the Community to continue to expand the center’s successful programs and build a new community center.

The Garden Party is scheduled for Sept. 20 from 12:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. at Oxford Hill Manor, the Rices’ home. This is an opportunity for a guided tour of the beautiful gardens while supporting the community center. Entertainment, food, drinks, and a live and silent auction will complement the day’s activities. The live auction includes a 5-night, 6-day stay at Old Key West Disney, a Chief Uncas boat tour of the Susquehanna River for 20 people, an opportunity to free-fly a trained Harris Hawk with New England Falconry, and more. The silent auction will feature gift baskets, art prints from Bobbi Becker and P. Buckley Moss, gift cards, and experience packages like a Visit Gettysburg package, a Dinner and Theatre package, a family fun package, and more.

“We are so excited for this fundraising garden-party event, which will benefit our Reach 4 the Stars Campaign for the Community,” said community center Executive Director Pamalee J. Lady. “The new community center will allow us to enhance and expand our current programs and bring additional programs to our community. We are beyond grateful to Jane and Mike Rice, who have generously agreed to open their outdoor gardens for this special afternoon.”

Tickets are available for sale at https://app.theauxilia.com/Event/art_in_the_garden_party. Tickets are $90; ages 21+ only. Tickets include food, drink, and guided garden tours.
