Zeal Edward Hinkle, 60, of Abbottstown, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2026. Born on February 27, 1966, Zeal was the son of Zeal Harvey Hinkle and the late Katherine Louise (Watts) Smith. Zeal enjoyed sprint car racing and spending time with his family.

In addition to his father, surviving are three sons, Jacob Hinkle, Wyatt Hinkle, and Daryl Hinkle; three brothers, Bo Hinkle, Daniel Scheerer, and Brian Smith; one sister, Angel Grogan; and three grandchildren, Presley, Averie, and Calvin. Zeal was preceded in death by one son, Cory Hinkle.
