Nila Fern Craig, 89, of Littlestown, Pennsylvania, passed away on September 16, 2026, at Centered Care Assisted Living in Westminster, Maryland.
Born on November 16, 1936, in Wileyville, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Francis Postlethwait and Thelma Pearl (Yoho) Postlethwait.
Nila was the loving wife of the late James R. Craig, who passed away on October 31, 2018.
She is survived by her three sons, Richard M. Craig and his wife, Linda, of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania; James D. Craig and his wife, Katherine, of Westminster, Maryland; and Phillip A. Craig and his wife, Laurie, of Linthicum Heights, Maryland. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Shane Craig and his wife, Emily, Dylan Craig and his wife, Alexandria, Brendon Craig and his wife, Cassandra, Bradley Craig, Kyle Craig, and Bryce Craig; her great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Willow; and her sister, Barbara Norris of West Virginia.
In addition to her husband and parents, Nila was preceded in death by her siblings, Nova Lee Cecil, Doris Twyman, Benny Win Arnold Postlethwait, and Donald Postlethwait, who died in infancy.
Nila loved reading, baking, traveling with her husband, and spending time with her family. She was a devoted member and life member of the Church of Christ, where her faith remained an important part of her life.
A visitation will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Little’s Funeral Home, 34 Maple Avenue, Littlestown, PA 17340. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, 799 Baltimore Street, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
