Richard Douglass Glass, 69, of Littlestown, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family. Born October 21, 1956, in Gettysburg, he was the son of the late Maryann Kelly.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Patricia (Halter) Glass, and his children: Michele Glass, Brian Glass (Mandy), and Chris Glass (Tanya). He was a proud grandfather to Jenna Landis, Emily Tober, Jared Glass, and Bryce Glass, each of whom brought him immense joy.
He is also survived by his brother, Roger Glass, and his sister, Sharon Ohler. Richard was preceded in death by his sister Christina Glass and his brother Patrick Glass.
Richard lived a life marked by loyalty, humor, and a deep love for the things that brought him peace — especially golf and cheering on his beloved New York Yankees. Whether on the course or watching a game, he found happiness in the simple moments and shared that joy with those around him.
He will be remembered for his steady presence, his devotion to family, and the warmth he carried into every room. His legacy lives on in the stories, laughter, and love he leaves behind.
