The Dallas Cowboys erased a 30-16 second-half deficit to beat the Houston Texans 34-30 on Sunday. Javonte Williams scored three rushing touchdowns after halftime, and CeeDee Lamb caught the go-ahead touchdown with 40 seconds left, Reuters reported. Milwaukee moved within two wins of the National League Championship Series by taking a 2-0 lead over San Diego. Atlanta evened its series with the Los Angeles Dodgers at one game apiece, winning 3-2 behind six pitchers, according to MLB.com. WNBA

The semifinals began Sunday with both home teams taking 1-0 leads in their best-of-five series. Gabby Williams had 25 points and 11 rebounds for the Valkyries, who outrebounded Las Vegas 52-25, according to the team’s recap.

College football

No. 25 Missouri beat No. 8 Florida 45-17, scoring 35 unanswered points after the teams were tied 10-10. No. 3 Notre Dame beat North Carolina 37-26, No. 4 Miami routed Clemson 41-13, and No. 7 Alabama defeated Mississippi State 56-23. U.S. men’s soccer

The U.S. Men’s National Team beat Mexico 3-0 Saturday in Glendale, Arizona, in the 80th match of the rivalry. Julian Hall scored in the first half, and 17-year-old Cavan Sullivan added a goal to become the youngest scorer in USMNT history. Malik Tillman scored late, and the U.S. kept a clean sheet in front of 64,932 fans. Mexico played the final stretch with 10 men after a 67th-minute red card.
