Brittany Autumn Arentz, 29, died Oct. 2, 2026. Her family’s notice described her as a devoted daughter, wife, mother, sister, granddaughter and friend. She spent 13 years battling ovarian cancer, including three recurrences, and her family remembered her determination, courage and humor during that time.
Arentz was the daughter of Stephanie and Samuel, and the sister of Caleb and Peyton. She was married to Dan Ault and was the mother of two young daughters, Daisy and Kinzey. Her mother, Stephanie, and stepfather, Kevin, supported her throughout her illness. Her grandparents, Charlene and C.W. Koontz, were also important in her life.
Her family recalled her spirited personality, wit and “snarky sense of humor.” She enjoyed playing World of Warcraft and collecting Hello Kitty and Kuromi items with her mother. The notice says the memories she made and the love she shared will remain with her family and friends.
Peters Funeral Home in Gettysburg is handling arrangements. The funeral home’s notice does not list a public service schedule.
