Cynthia M. Gauthier, 76, of New Oxford, died September 27, 2026, at UPMC Hanover Hospital after a long illness. Born March 3, 1950, in Cupertino, California, she was the daughter of the late Glenn H. and Theresa Muscato. She devoted herself to raising her children and worked at various jobs to provide for them. In 2008, she married Kenneth Gauthier, and they built a blended family. Her notice describes her as a compassionate mother who was there for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth; daughter Theresa Culver and son Wayne Robinson; stepdaughters Kimberley Otley and Christine Manning; and stepson Kenneth Gauthier II. Her grandchildren include Cheryl Blackburn, Brad Lantych, Allison Smitherman, Kimberly and Nicole Robinson, Sean and Mary Culver, Nickolas and Kaya Otley, Kenneth Gauthier III, and Caitlin and Grayson Manning. Her great-grandchildren include Joshua and Allison Blackburn, Alexandria Smitherman, and Theo and Finley Lewis.
