Georgia A. (Deatrick) Becker, 85, died September 25, 2026, at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital. Born October 29, 1940, she was the daughter of the late George M. and Goldie I. (Laughman) Deatrick. She and her husband, John H. Becker, shared 67 years of marriage.

Becker worked for the Spring Grove Area School District for 40 years. She began as a substitute cook in 1975 and later served as head cafeteria cook, retiring in 2015. Her survivors include her husband; children Debra Warner, Scott Becker, Kimberly Kinard and Lisa Laughman; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sisters Mary Thompson, Grace Groft and Ginny Hartman. She was preceded in death by brothers George and Jerry Deatrick.

Viewing was held at Murphy-Beck Funeral Home on September 30 and at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hanover on October 1, before the funeral service there. Interment followed at Marburg Memorial Gardens. Read the full notice and leave condolences.
