Linda L. Fair, 88, of Gettysburg, died suddenly at home on September 30, 2026. Born in Cashtown on May 26, 1938, she was the daughter of the late William and Blanche Howe (Carbaugh). Her husband, Harold H. Fair, died in 2025.
Fair graduated from Gettysburg High School and briefly worked at the Gettysburg Times. She spent more than 40 years at ACNB Bank, retiring as head teller. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and golf, and also took part in a card club and a swim club. The notice says she most enjoyed time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include son Jeff Fair and his wife, Tonya, of Mount Holly Springs; daughter Jennifer Robol and her husband, Calvin, of Venetia; grandchildren Tim Fair, Tony Robol, Brody Robol and Alaina Robol; and brother Kenneth Howe of Gettysburg. She was preceded in death by her brother Donald Howe. A memorial service is scheduled for October 10 at Gettysburg Church of the Brethren, with visitation beginning at 9 a.m. Memorials may be made to the church.
