Speakers are expected to include U.S. Treasurer Brandon Beach, Mint Director Paul Hollis, park Superintendent Stephanie Stephens and Gettysburg Foundation Acting President Barbara Sardella.

The ceremony will feature a Civil War-era brass band and a ceremonial coin pour into a reproduction black stovepipe hat, recalling the style of hat worn by President Abraham Lincoln.

After the ceremony, the Mint will distribute free Gettysburg Address quarters in commemorative coin boards. Adams County National Bank will coordinate an on-site public coin exchange at the visitor center.
