The Adams County Library System announced that its 10th annual FunFest will take place Friday, June 11, 2027, at The Barn Resort in Gettysburg, moving from its longtime home at Gettysburg Recreation Park.

The library system said it began exploring a new location as discussions emerged about future plans for the Recreation Park property. The Barn Resort will also serve as the event sponsor.

“We are incredibly excited about this new partnership with The Barn Resort,” said Erica Duffy, development director for the Adams County Library System. “FunFest has become an important tradition for the library and the community. It gives a chance for people of all ages to come together, have fun, and celebrate everything the library brings to Adams County.”

FunFest is a free community event celebrating the library system’s services and bringing together families and residents of all ages. The organization operates six library branches throughout Adams County.

“We are proud to partner with the Adams County Library System for its 10th Annual FunFest,” said Cindy Compton of The Barn Resort. “The library plays such an important role in Adams County, and we are excited to welcome the community to The Barn Resort for this special event.”

Organizers said activities and other event details will be announced as planning continues.
