Mary Elizabeth Blevins, 92, of East Berlin, died Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, at Chambersburg Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born Nov. 3, 1933, in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Russell Gilbert and Madaline (Stambaugh) Fair. Blevins worked for many years as a seamstress in the clothing industry and later worked as a dishwasher in several local restaurants.
She is survived by five children, Judy B. Little and Donald L. Blevins, both of East Berlin, Brenda Poe of Brooksville, Florida, Karen Jacobs of Dillsburg, and Brian Blevins of East Berlin; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and seven sisters, Shirley Hull, Marian Snyder, Ethel Orr, Linda King, Delores Jacobs, Lillie Duke and Marcia Myers.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, at Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg. A viewing will begin one hour before the service. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in York Springs.
