Inspired by the permanent exhibition at the National Museum of American History American Democracy: A Great Leap of Faith opens to the public July 20 2019 in the Gettysburg Museum of the American Civil War at the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center and will close November 10 2019.
American Democracy demonstrates that democracy relies on every citizen’s active participation in the quest to form a “more perfect union.”

The exhibit will be open between the hours of 8am-6pm from July 20-October 31. Hours will change to 9am-5pm from November 1-10.
