Judy A. Tate, 76 of Gettysburg, PA, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Genesis-Gettysburg Center. Born January 23, 1949, in Gettysburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Roy D. & Mary H. (Harper) Tate.
Judy was a 1966 graduate of Biglerville High School and continued her education in the nursing field, becoming an LPN. She worked for many years at the Carlisle Hospital and Gettysburg Hospital. Judy also served many patients as a private duty nurse in the Adams County area. She is survived by her son, Spanky A. Raymond (Vicki) of Uniontown, Ohio, three grandchildren, Sydney, Nathan, and Evan Raymond, a brother, Robert Tate (Sharon) of Carlisle, PA, three sisters, Nancy Scrymgeour and Joan Workman, both of Albuquerque, NM, and Nina Dick (Tom) of Fairfield, PA. Funeral Services will be private. The Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg is assisting the family with the arrangements.
