A Gettysburg Christmas Festival hosts “A Gettysburg Christmas” movie

Main Street Gettysburg, in partnership with United Lutheran Seminary and Seminary Ridge Museum, is pleased to welcome the movie A Gettysburg Christmas to this year’s A Gettysburg Christmas Festival on December 1, 2, and 3.

Movie Director Bo Brinkman and Co-Producer Kris Webb coordinated with Jill Sellers, President of Main Street Gettysburg, Pete Miele, Executive Director of Seminary Ridge Museum, and staff at United Lutheran Seminary, to co-sponsor special screenings of the new movie during the annual festival at no cost to the public.

A Gettysburg Christmas

“The team and plans came together beautifully to share this as a special part of the Christmas Festival, which is also featured in the film,” said Sellers. “The filming brought incredible energy, cooperation, and commerce to Gettysburg and Adams County. Our community invested in its creation, and now they can enjoy the first event of a new tradition.”

“United Lutheran Seminary has graciously allowed Main Street Gettysburg to use their auditorium in Valentine Hall for this event. The seminary is a faithful partner with the Gettysburg community, hosting events throughout the year open to the public,” said Linda Fiore, Director of Communications in a statement provided by United Lutheran Seminary.

“The team at Seminary Ridge Museum and Education Center is honored to be co-sponsoring the screening of A Gettysburg Christmas as part of Main Street Gettysburg’s A Gettysburg Christmas Festival. While summer is our busiest season, this community has so much to offer visitors during the winter months. I’m thrilled that Bo and his team have brought this magic to the screen for all to see,” said Pete Miele, Executive Director of Seminary Ridge Museum and Education Center.

Screenings will be held in Valentine Hall on Friday, December 1 at 4:00 and 6:00 p.m.; Saturday, December 2 at 10:00 a.m., 12:00, 2:00, 4:00, and 6:00 p.m.; and Sunday at 12:00, 2:00, and 4:00 p.m. A discussion panel with Director Bo Brinkman will follow the 6:00 p.m. screening on Saturday.
