WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital welcomed its first baby of 2026 at 3:46 p.m. on January 2.
Baby Evelyn Rayne Ellis was born weighing 8 pounds, 13.5 ounces and measuring 20 inches long. Her parents, Claudia and James Ellis of Biglerville, are celebrating the new arrival along with big sister Eowyn.
Hospital staff reported that both mother and baby are doing very well.
