A small portion of Baltimore Street will be closed beginning at 4 p.m. to accommodate filming for the historical movie “Gettysburg, 1863,” directed by Bo Brinkman. The closure affects Baltimore Street between South Street and Breckenridge Street and will remain in place until Tuesday, October 14, at 6 p.m.
The film, described as a powerful story of a fictional local family during the Civil War, explores the Underground Railroad, the Battle of Gettysburg, and a Union soldier’s journey to survive and return home. Filming will center around the historic Shriver House Museum, with spectator seating available for those who wish to observe the production.
Motorists may need to take alternate routes to reach the museum during the closure period.
