Golf and art enthusiasts came together on Thursday at The Links of Gettysburg to participate in the 9th annual Tee It Up FORE the Arts golf tournament, benefiting the Adams County Arts Council. A cool, sunny, beautiful day served as backdrop for a fun-filled celebration of golf, food, and community. The event was the Arts Council’s most successful tournament yet; 88 golfers on 22 teams competed for tournament prizes, and the event raised more than $20,000 to benefit the Arts Council’s programming and operations.
Enbridge was the Event Sponsor, fielded two teams, and generously donated their $200 in prizes from second place winners Chris Sanders, Bill Ellsworth, Bob Tajc, and Jose Vasquez back to the Arts Council. Gold sponsors were Wellspan Health, KVG, and Battlefield Motorcycles; silver sponsors were ACNB Insurance Services, Martin Foot & Ankle, The Taney Corporation, and Helicopter Applicators, which provided services for the popular Helicopter Ball Drop contest and spectacle immediately after the tournament. Boles, Metzger, Brosius, and Wallace (BMBW) and Adams Electric Cooperative, Inc. were bronze sponsors for the event.
The winners were as follows:
- First Place: Ken Mutzabaugh, Kathy Pellicci, Rich Miller, and Connor Orner
- Second Place (Enbridge Sponsor Team): Chris Sanders, Bill Ellsworth, Bob Tajc, and Jose Vasquez
- 9th Place Winners: Jerry Dougherty, Mike Koziski, Tony Strickland, and Pete Hull
- 19th Place Winners (Wellspan Health Sponsor Team): Mike Cogliano, Tom Uhlig, Karl Pietrzak, and Jordan Nace

The Arts Council was proud to include a raffle of pastel paintings of Links landscapes created by Links resident and ACAC Member Artist Wanda Snader Dehan this year. Debbie Westmoreland, Jerry Wright, and Ryan Weisberg all went home with an original, signed painting as a prize from that raffle.
“It’s always a joy to kick off spring with such a great event,” said Lisa Cadigan, Executive Director of the Adams County Arts Council. “Funds raised from this event are crucial for our operations, making it possible for ACAC to offer the highest quality arts education opportunities to people of all ages, backgrounds, and economic means in the Adams County community. Thank you to our sponsors, participants, and volunteers who made this event possible, and to Stu Kravitz, our Board Vice President, for his dedicated work on this event every year.”
