On January 15th, Adams County Technical Institute sent students to compete in SkillsUSA competitions at Carlisle High School and Cumberland Perry Career and Technical Center.
The medal count from student competitions was eight Gold Medals, five Silver Medals, and seven Bronze Medals.
Adams County Technical Institute students displayed their skills and knowledge in a competitive environment. The students who earned gold medals will be competing at the state Skills USA competition this April.
To help raise money for the state competition, the culinary students will be preparing a fundraiser banquet to help offset the costs of the competition. Tickets can be purchased at https://acticulinary.square.site/
The ACTI Skills USA Fundraiser Banquet will take place on Wednesday, March 20th, with dinner served from 5 pm – 7 pm. You may arrive any time during these hours at the Adams County Technical Institute, 1126 Old Harrisburg Road, Gettysburg.
