Adams County 4-H is reaching out to local homeschool families with an invitation to join a new initiative designed specifically for their needs. The organization is forming a 4-H Homeschool Club and is looking to partner with homeschool groups throughout the county.
To kick off the effort, Adams County 4-H will host an informational meeting via Zoom on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. The meeting will introduce families to the goals of the club and provide details about how to get involved.

Parents and guardians interested in attending are asked to email 4-H educators Alexis Lansford at ael5524@psu.edu or Jenna Waybright at jnw5481@psu.edu to receive the Zoom link. Those unable to attend are still encouraged to contact either educator to learn more.
According to organizers, the Adams County 4-H Homeschool Club will feature monthly meetings and a variety of hands-on projects. The program will also incorporate established 4-H curriculum, tailored to support the educational goals of homeschooling families.
The club is being developed with flexibility and enrichment in mind, offering homeschool students a chance to engage with peers, build new skills, and participate in structured learning activities beyond the home classroom.
For more information, families can reach out directly to Lansford or Waybright.
