Adams County Arts Council Announces 22nd Annual Juried Art Exhibition Call for Entries

The Adams County Arts Council (ACAC) invites submissions to its 22nd Annual Juried Art Exhibition, which will be held June 5-29, 2026 at the Arts Education Center, 125 S. Washington Street, Gettysburg, PA. Any person over the age of 18 is eligible to submit work for consideration by Juror, Philip Lindsey. Lindsey is an accomplished fine artist in painting and drawing and a professor of fine arts at Wilson College. The deadline for submissions is Friday, March 20.

This premiere show not only features work from Adams County and South-central Pennsylvania’s best artists but also draws entries from across the United States to be considered for awards ranging from $200 to $1,000. There is a $30 entry fee for up to three pieces for Adams County Arts Council members and a $45 entry fee for non-members. Entry forms and membership information are available online at www.adamsarts.org, or by contacting ACAC at aa@adamsarts.org, or 717-334-5006.

For the first time in the history of this prestigious exhibition, the exhibit and Toast the Artists Reception will be held at the Adams County Arts Council’s Arts Education Center in downtown Gettysburg. “We have talked about elevating and dedicating our space for this event for quite some time,” says ACAC’s Managing Director Lori McCullough. “We are thrilled to be able to showcase the extraordinary artists this show draws for the month of June at our own Arts Education Center.”

The Juried Art Exhibition will open to the public on June 5, with a First Friday Toast the Artists Celebration and Awards Ceremony, featuring live music, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and signature cocktails for all who attend.

Professor Philip Lindsey teaches painting, drawing, and graphic design at Wilson College and curates Wilson’s Bogigian Gallery. No stranger to juried shows and their rigors, Lindsey’s own artwork has been selected and exhibited in major juried exhibits both nationally and internationally.
