The Adams County Arts Council will celebrate the December 4th First Friday virtually this year due to the rising spike of the coronavirus and the diminished capacity to operate as mandated by Governor Wolf. The ACAC will host live video chats and tours of the facility throughout the afternoon, 1-5 p.m., which can be viewed on the website, www.adamsarts.org, and on Facebook. The AECenter will close at 5 p.m. and there will be no public First Friday reception hours.
Among the featured artists and instructors will be Elsie Shackleton, Staci Grimes, Debbie Westmoreland, Barbara Spicer, Cheri Freeman and a Gingerbread Celebration committee member. The virtual events are an opportunity to discover how to get involved with the celebration by viewing, voting and bidding on the amazing houses and an incredible array of gift baskets available for auction. Visit www.adamsarts.org to access the online Gingerbread Celebration voting and bidding.
