Families seeking preschool opportunities for their young children still have time to enroll in Adams County Head Start before the new school year begins.
Adams County Head Start has openings for eligible children ages 3 to 5, with classes scheduled to begin Aug. 19. The program serves children who reside in Adams County and provides its services at no cost to qualifying families.
The comprehensive early childhood program offers more than preschool education. Services include high-quality classroom instruction, health and nutrition support, daily meals and snacks, dental screenings, family support services, mental health resources and specialized services for children with disabilities.
Families interested in enrolling are encouraged to submit an application as soon as possible while space remains available.
