Adams County Housing Authority seeks landlords

The Adams County Housing Authority is seeking new landlords for its housing choice voucher program.

To help prospective landlords learn more about keeping their units filled with reliable tenants while about helping the community, the agency is offering an Open House on Tuesday May 21, 2024, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Misty Ridge Community Room, 25 Sunnie Way, Gettysburg.

The agency houses hundreds of deserving people in subsidized housing.

There is always a waiting list for housing.

The Housing Authority offers landlords:

  • Competitive payment standards
  • Guaranteed rental income while helping the community
  • Payments made via direct deposit
  • Consistent tenants, low vacancy and turnover
  • Free pre-inspections followed by annual inspections to make sure the property is being maintained by tenants
  • Competitive rental rates

Thank you Adams County Housing Authority, for doing all you can for the community.I really pray there are more landlords willing to help with the community crisis that is happening in Adams County, PA !! It is sad when hardworking people can’t afford to rent a home , due to high inflation . Why would anyone want to see good people from their own communities living outside in the heat & cold with children , or if one of the parents has bad health problems and needs home health care, they can’t be homeless to get health care !!
