A new community partnership called Community Wellness Connections (CWC) has been launched by Healthy Adams County, with a mission to promote wellness through mind, body, spirit, and community.
The CWC is a collaboration among local organizations including Adams County Arts Council, Gettysburg Area Recreation Authority, Gettysburg College, Healthy Adams Bicycle & Pedestrian, Inc., South Central Community Action Programs, WellSpan Health, Adams County Library System, YWCA Gettysburg & Adams County. The partners believe that by connecting people with events and activities that relate to each dimension of wellness, they can help the community to address Adams County health challenges.
A full list of events can be found on the CWC website. All events are free or very low cost. Additional events can be posted by local organizations by emailing jgastley2@wellspan.org or calling Healthy Adams County at 717-337-4137.
